Join the Pelican Rapids Music in the Park series for a relaxing evening of live music featuring Zach Thomas.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, enjoy dinner served by the Pelican Rapids Area Lions Club, and relax with friends, family, and neighbors during this free outdoor concert. It's a perfect way to spend a summer evening enjoying great music and community.

In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Pelican Rapids Fire Hall.

Join Stephen Henning at Maplewood State Park for a day of plein air painting. Students can use any media to explore the beauty of this state park while Stephen comes around to each artist offering tips & techniques. Bring all of the supplies that you will need and a lunch.

Join the Friends of Maplewood State Park for an afternoon of live music featuring Aimee Nordlund of Fergus Falls.

Aimee is a pianist, vocalist, choir director, piano teacher, and Minister of Music at Grace Lutheran Church in Erhard. Her performances span folk, gospel, country, and classic favorites—from Johnny Cash to Judy Garland—and often include audience sing-alongs. Known for sharing music that uplifts and inspires, Aimee regularly performs for residents at the Fergus Falls Veterans Home.

Bring a lawn chair and enjoy an afternoon of music surrounded by the natural beauty of Maplewood State Park.

Admission to the concert is free. A valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit or daily park entrance fee is required to enter the park.
