Adapted from the Biblical book of Exodus, The Prince of Egypt follows Moses, a Hebrew child rescued from the Nile and raised in the Egyptian royal court. After discovering his true heritage, Moses embarks on a mission to lead the Hebrew people out of slavery—a calling that puts him in direct conflict with his brother Ramses, the new Pharaoh of Egypt.
As Moses fights for his people’s freedom, the brothers are forced to confront their past, their responsibilities, and the separate destinies that await them.
