Free Writing Workshop with Victoria Rose

Artist and educator Victoria Rose invites participants to explore “Your Life Lesson. Your Reflection. Your Creative Expression.” through a free writing workshop centered on reflection, storytelling, and preserving our own narratives.
The workshop is part of a four-session series created with Black rural Minnesotans as the primary and intended beneficiaries, responding to the ways Black rural experiences are often missing from broader narratives about both rural and Black life. The series creates space and encouragement for Black rural Minnesotans to tell and preserve their own stories, while welcoming people of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities to engage in the practice.
Each workshop stands alone and includes materials, snacks, and guidance. Space and materials are limited, so advance registration is encouraged. Children ages 14 and younger must register with a caregiver.
