Adult Class: Beginning Watercolor with Jona Brown

Saturday, September 26 | 1:30–4:30PM | Ages 17+

Discover the possibilities of watercolor in this playful, beginner-friendly class! Using unusual flowers and other organic materials as inspiration, students will explore a variety of tools and techniques for creating texture and manipulating watercolor pigment.

This class is all about experimentation, discovery, and getting comfortable with the medium—no previous watercolor experience necessary. Playful attitudes are welcome!

About the Instructor:
Jona Brown is a Fergus Falls-based artist known for her colorful, story-inspired paintings of chickens, butterflies, kitchens, and everyday life. With a background in oil painting and interior design, Jona brings creativity, curiosity, and a love of storytelling to her work. In addition to her studio practice, she paints murals for the Otter Tail County Historical Society and enjoys teaching art to artists of all ages.
