Meet Linda Gaugert
September Artist of the Month

The Alexandria Art Guild is recognizing longtime local artist and Guild founding member Linda Gaugert as its September Artist of the Month.

An artist for more than five decades, Gaugert works primarily in oil and watercolor, creating landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and other subjects. She has also completed more than 70 commissioned home portraits and is currently focusing on developing her plein air painting practice.

Gaugert’s contributions to the regional arts community extend beyond her own work. After serving on the Lake Region Arts Council Board, she helped establish the Alexandria Art Guild in 2018, serving on its board from its inception through 2026.

The public is invited to meet Linda during a special artist reception on September 18. Enjoy refreshments, view her featured work, and learn more about the inspiration and techniques behind her art. Her work will remain on display throughout September.
