Third Thursday Open Mic Night

A new chapter begins for Third Thursday Open Mic Night at the Evansville Art Center! Patty Kakac takes the lead beginning this month, bringing fresh energy and expanding Open Mic to include music, poetry, spoken word, and songwriting.
Whether you have a song to sing, an instrument to play, a poem or story to share—or simply want to come listen—all are welcome. You don’t have to be polished or professional; Open Mic is a space to share, experiment, and find the courage to try something new.
Evansville Arts Coalition also extends its thanks to Mark Wiese for his many seasons of leadership and dedication to this monthly event.
Open Mic continues on the third Thursday of each month from 7:00–9:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Beverages are provided, and attendees are welcome to bring a treat to share at intermission. The EAC provides an excellent sound system and full Yamaha keyboard.
