Saturday, November 1 , 10am - 2pm
Learn hands-on camera skills with members of the Evansville Photo Club.
Evansville Arts Coalition Photo Club is holding a Free Photography Workshop on Saturday, November 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for ages 12 to Adult at Evansville Art Center. (Youth ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian) This is one of three projects provided by EAC after being awarded a $7,820 Spring Legacy Organization Grant from Lake Region Arts Council.
This will be a hands-on introduction to photography taught by Board member, photographer, and artist, Jackie Henning and several accomplished photographers and members of EAC’s Photo Club. This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone curious about capturing better photos. Attendees will explore the basics of composition, lighting, and storytelling through images, then head outdoors for a guided photo walk to put their new skills into practice.
