Masquerade Reception: Art Ghoullery 8

Come dressed in your Halloween finery for a masquerade reception celebrating the eighth iteration of The Rourke's fan-favorite exhibition, the Art Ghoullery! Enjoy tarot readings from Hexe Hilde, sensory tables from Leika Sensory Creations in the Children's Gallery, Cinemacabre selections in The Rourke Micro-Theatre, adult and youth costume contests, a special pop-up installation by Ghoullery artist and theatre designer Ian Scheele, spooky vinyl sets, and more!

Refreshments will be provided. Free and open to the public; all ages welcome.

Home, Harvest & Hearth Poetry Workshop

Local Poet, LeAnn Bjerken be hosting the poetry workshop Home, Harvest & Hearth on Thursday, November 13 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

This workshop will explore memory, gratitude, and the warmth of gathering. Together, attendees will read and discuss poems inspired by place and tradition, then create their own reflections on what nourishes us and the spaces we call home.

LeAnn has experience as an author, journalist, and library aide. She has hosted previous workshops for adults and young adults

This workshop is for ages 13 through adult. There is no charge to attend.  Donations will be gratefully accepted. Preregistration is required.  Register by emailing : leannbjerken@yahoo.com
