Join Art of the Lakes for The Hook, a live, unscripted storytelling series celebrating personal experiences, creativity, and community connection.

Inspired by storytelling programs like The Moth and The Tell – Fargo, The Hook invites community members to share true, personal stories in an intimate and welcoming setting.

November's theme, "That's Awkward," promises an evening of memorable stories exploring life's uncomfortable, unexpected, and often hilarious moments.

Audience members can sit back and enjoy the storytelling or put their names in the hat for a chance to take the stage and share a story of their own.

Doors open at 6:00 PM, with storytelling beginning at 6:30 PM. Seating is limited, and attendees must be 18 or older.

Join The Tell – Fargo for an evening of live community storytelling with November's theme, Hot Mess!

From disastrous Thanksgiving dinners and chaotic vacations to memorable coworkers, relationships, and personal mishaps, just about anything can turn into a hot mess—and everyone has a story to tell!

Inspired by storytelling programs like The Moth, The Tell invites community members to share true, personal stories in an unscripted, welcoming environment. Storytellers are selected at random to share approximately six-minute stories without notes or props.

Whether you have a hilarious mishap to share or simply want to enjoy an evening of entertaining stories, come experience the humor, honesty, and unexpected connections of live storytelling.

Doors open at 6:15 PM, with storytelling beginning at 7:00 PM.
