Call for Artists: Blink: A Moment in Time

Kaddatz Galleries invites emerging and established artists from Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota to submit artwork for Blink: A Moment in Time, a juried group exhibition exploring the beauty, complexity, and fleeting nature of singular moments. The exhibition will be presented in the Charles Beck Gallery and Studio K in early 2027.
A blink lasts just a fraction of a second, yet everything can change in that instant. This exhibition invites artists to slow down time and explore the power of a single moment. Whether capturing the blink of an eye, a historical turning point, a passing emotion, or the impermanence of everyday life, artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly.
Visual artists working in all mediums are welcome to apply. There is no submission fee, and previous exhibition experience is not required. Applicants must submit 1–4 images of their artwork and an artist biography. An artist statement, social media handles, and website link may also be included.
Selected artists will be notified during the week of December 7–11, 2026, and will receive an exhibition agreement and additional instructions. Artwork must be ready for display, including appropriate framing and hanging hardware when applicable. Artists are responsible for delivering and picking up their work.
