Painting Birds and People in Watercolor with Grace Haverty
August 6, 9:30-3:30 pm

Sketch, paint, and learn some fun techniques to watercolor painting from the photos Grace will provide for this class. Grace suggests bringing any watercolor paints you already have or feel comfortable using. If you’re looking for some recommendations, Grace likes to use Holbein, Winsor Newton, Daniel Smith, and/or Schmincke watercolor paints in the colors listed below on the supply list.

Students will need to bring their own supplies for this class. Don’t forget to bring a water container, paper towels, a board for mounting your paper, a sketching pencil, your preferred brushes, and anything else you normally use when watercoloring.

August 23, 2025, 10AM-3PM, Rosemal is Traditional Norwegian Folk Painting. Paint a sandwich board in the Rogalind style with instructor Carol Braaten. Ages 16 and up, cost is $60 and includes all supplies and use of tools/brushes.
