Explore the beauty of a moonlit desert landscape in this hands-on acrylic painting workshop at the Holmes Art Studio! Join landscape artist Val Voigt for Desert Moonlight, a relaxed and creative class where participants will learn painting techniques while creating their own nighttime scene.
Val will guide students step by step through the painting process, sharing techniques for working with acrylic paints and capturing the atmosphere of a moonlit landscape. Designed for painters of all experience levels, this workshop offers a welcoming opportunity to develop skills, experiment with color, and enjoy the creative process.
All supplies are included in the class fee, including an 11 x 14-inch canvas, paints, brushes, and aprons. Participants may wish to wear a paint shirt. Each student will complete a painting to take home by the end of the session.
A Detroit Lakes native, Val Voigt is an award-winning landscape artist whose work celebrates the beauty of nature and the changing seasons. With years of experience teaching painting classes, she enjoys sharing her techniques and encouraging others to discover the joy of creating art.
