Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) invites young performers to explore acting, storytelling, music, and movement through its Winter Education 2027 program. With classes for students in kindergarten through 9th grade, the seven-week session offers opportunities to build confidence, develop performance skills, make new friends, and discover the joy of theatre.

Pete the Cat Adventures

Grades: K–1 | Time: 10:00–10:50 AM | Tuition: $90

Pete the Cat Adventures introduces young performers to creative drama, imaginative play, and storytelling inspired byPete the Cat the Musical.

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief

Grades: 2–4 | Time: 11:00–11:50 AM | Tuition: $90

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief takes students on a mythological adventure through improvisation, character creation, theatre games, and scene work.

Youth Acting

Grades: 3–5 | Time: 1:00–1:50 PM | Tuition: $90

Youth Acting focuses on essential performance skills, including voice, movement, theatrevocabulary, character objectives, and ensemble collaboration.

Middle School Acting

Grades: 6–9 | Time: 2:00–2:50 PM | Tuition: $90

Middle School Acting focuses on essential performance skills, including voice, movement, theatrevocabulary, character objectives, and ensemble collaboration.

Musical Theatre: Throw Back to Hamilton

Grades: 2–4 | Time: 3:00–4:30 PM | Tuition: $100

Musical Theatre: Throw Back to Hamilton introduces students to singing, choreography, character development, andensemble storytelling inspired by the Broadway musical Hamilton.

Musical Theatre: Throw Back to Hamilton

Adaptive Theatre   

Age: 14 - Adult | Time: 12:00 - 12:50 PM | Tuition: Free

This class welcomes students of all abilities ages 14 - adult, guiding them through creative games, interactive exercises, and exciting rehearsals. Designed to celebrate each individual's unique strengths and differences. This class is appropriate for students on the Autism Spectrum, those with Down Syndrome, severe ADHD, or any other developmental or sensory processing disorders.

All classes conclude with a student showcase for family and friends on Saturday, February 20, giving participants an opportunity to share what they've learned.
