Youth Workshop: Watercolor Mobiles with Jona Brown
Saturday, September 26 | 10AM–12PM | Ages 7–15
Explore the colorful world of watercolor painting! In this hands-on class, young artists will experiment with different watercolor tools and techniques while creating their own collection of butterflies, bugs, and other colorful flying friends. Each piece will then come together to create a one-of-a-kind hanging mobile to take home.
About the Instructor:
Jona Brown is a Fergus Falls-based artist known for her colorful, story-inspired paintings of chickens, butterflies, kitchens, and everyday life. With a background in oil painting and interior design, Jona brings creativity, curiosity, and a love of storytelling to her work. In addition to her studio practice, she paints murals for the Otter Tail County Historical Society and enjoys teaching art to young artists.
