Rug Hooking with Elise Olson

Are you ready to explore the timeless craft of rug hooking and create a stunning piece of fiber art for your home? Join us for a beginner’s level class where you’ll learn the basics of rug hooking while crafting a beautiful decorative wall hanging. You will learn the process of decorative rug making and go home with a one-of-a-kind small decorative piece of art!

Free and open to the public, in this presentation, nationally acclaimed embroidery artist Kathy Andrews will share a selection from her own antique sampler collection. Most samplers will be visible on both sides.  This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation; The Arts Partnership with the Cities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo; the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation, and the Alex Stern Family Foundation.
