Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre is thrilled to announce the return of our  6th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival, as part of our 2025–2026 season!

Thanks to feedback from our community, we’ve moved the festival performances to May, and we’re excited to see how this new timing brings even more energy to the event. We warmly invite you to submit your 10-minute play this year! Submissions open August 25, 2025.

We’re also happy to share that submission fees have been eliminated!

The festival has grown so much and sustains itself, including playwright prizes. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without your support—thank you to our community for helping us build this program from the ground up.

This course explores the essential principles of performance, from voice and movement to understanding theatre vocabulary. Actors will explore objectives and obstacles, embrace the power of risk-taking, and develop ensemble-building skills to bring their performance to life.

Students will perform in a showcase on the final day of class, November 15.

Students will master the art of preparing a captivating monologue and powerful song for theatrical auditions. From selecting the perfect piece to delivering a confident performance, students will gain the skills and confidence to bring their best skills to every audition.

This class will not have a final showcase performance.

Auditions for FMCT's mainstage holiday production "The Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood" will be held on October 13th, 2025. This class is a great way to prepare! About the show...In this stage adaptation of the 1966 holiday tv special, the zoo animals throw a Christmas Eve party, but the embittered Lone T. Wolf -- who was not invited -- tells his side of the Red Riding Hood story.

All classes will be held at the Hjemkomst Center.
