Enjoy an evening of live music with Blū Kanū and special guest Eli Bentley at the Barry J. Houglum Auditorium in Ulen.

Blū Kanū is the sibling duo of Artie Anderson and Rhoda Anderson Habedank, whose tight harmonies, engaging stage presence, and mix of folk, Americana, and popular favorites have delighted audiences throughout the region. Their performances feature music from the 1960s through today, with songs that encourage audience participation and celebrate the joy of making music together.

Opening the evening is Eli Bentley, a Minnesota singer-songwriter from the Red River Valley whose eclectic style blends gospel country, classic rock, grunge, folk, and original songs inspired by the people and places of the prairie.

Operation Check Six Band

Experience an evening of music and storytelling with Operation Check Six, a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring veterans through song.

Featuring music that spans generations of military service—from World War II and the Korean and Vietnam Wars to Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and today—this unique performance combines live music with historical insights and personal stories that bring each era to life.

Founded in 2021 by Angie and Dan Hudson, Operation Check Six brings together veterans, military members, first responders, healthcare professionals, and others who have experienced trauma. Through original music and storytelling, the group honors those who have served while highlighting the healing power of creative expression.

Nashville recording artist Doug Allen Nash joins vocalist Kathie Brekke, along with Dan Brekke, Russ Peterson, the 42nd Street Band, and a special appearance by Elvis Presley, for a lively celebration filled with music, humor, and holiday spirit.

From heartwarming duets and jazz-inspired holiday tunes to humorous storytelling and crowd-pleasing performances, this family-friendly concert offers something for audiences of all ages.

FMCT Murder Mystery: Last Call at Chez Mort

The Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) returns to Ulen with the interactive murder mystery comedy Last Call at Chez Mort by Lee Anians-Mueller.

Travel back to the roaring 1920s and the famed jazz club Chez Mort, where a promising young singer's debut performance ends in a mysterious death. Was it an accident—or murder? Join Inspector Constantine as he investigates a colorful cast of suspects, including gangsters, performers, stagehands, and nightclub personalities, to uncover the truth behind the night's shocking events.

Filled with humor, memorable characters, and plenty of twists, this entertaining production invites audiences to solve the mystery alongside the detective.

Founded in 1946, Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre is the Red River Valley's longest-running community arts organization, providing theatrical performances and educational opportunities throughout the region.

Wingra Wind Quintet

Experience an evening of exceptional chamber music with the Wingra Wind Quintet, one of the nation's longest-running and most distinguished wind ensembles.

Founded in 1965 and serving as a faculty chamber ensemble in residence at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Mead Witter School of Music, the quintet is recognized for its artistic excellence and commitment to music education. The ensemble has performed at national and international conferences and universities, including the Paris Conservatoire, Interlochen Arts Academy, and institutions across the United States.

Dedicated to the spirit of the Wisconsin Idea, the Wingra Wind Quintet shares its performances and educational outreach with communities throughout the region. The ensemble features Conor Nelson (flute), Lindsay Flowers (oboe), Alicia Lee (clarinet), Eleni Katz (bassoon), and Trevor Healy (horn).
