Join us this spring at the Cultural Center as our new “Morning with Megan” workshop series continues! Morning with Megan is a monthly creative series held on the second Saturday of each month, offering new projects and creative inspiration throughout the year.

Please note: Arts Learning Workshops (and all Cultural Center events!) are always open to ALL — you do NOT need to be a member to attend. However, members DO help support us financially and as our way of saying thanks, members receive a discount on many workshops and performing arts events!

Painting with Natural Ink Colors

Two sessions available: Tuesday, March 24, & April 21, 6-9 PM

Explore the beauty and unpredictability of natural ink in this relaxed painting workshop with artist Alicia Hauff. Learn what natural inks are, why artists use them, and how their organic qualities differ from traditional inks while creating 2–3 small paintings to take home. Participants will also discuss approaches to sealing, framing, and preserving natural ink works for longevity. This class invites curiosity, reflection, and experimentation—no prior experience required, and it can be taken with or without the companion class Creating Natural Ink Colors with Artist Alicia Hauff. All materials are provided.

Figure Clay Class

with Mary Williams

June 26, 9-4 and July 31, 9-4 (two sessions)
​Mary Williams' Studio, Clitherall

In this two-part class, we will first make a clay figure from a model on Friday, June 26, 2026. Mary will then fire your figure and on Friday, July 31, we will paint & finish it. Both parts of this class will meet at Mary's studio on Stewart Lake near Clitherall. Ages 16+
