This Fine Arts Festival is held in conjunction with the annual Rural Art Juried Exhibition.  This year, the exhibition will be juried by Michael Dunn.  The Call for Works is also attached.

 Important Dates:

Festival Date: August 23, 2025, 10:00 am – 6:00 p.m.
Registration Deadline: June 1, 2025 (refundable before August 1)

Rural Art Juried Exhibition

Dates of Exhibition: July 29, 2025 – September, 2025
Deadline for Submissions: July 18, 2025
Deadline for Arrival of Art: July 26, 2025
Artists’ Reception: Thursday, August 21, 2025, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Member Entry Fee: $10 for one piece, $20 for two, $25 for three
Non-member Entry Fee: $15 for one piece, $30 for two, $40 for three

 The Lake Region Arts Council is now accepting submissions for the 2025 Guest Juror Exhibition, juried by the distinguished Nancy Ariza. This is a fantastic opportunity to exhibit your work in the LRAC Main Gallery and connect with a vibrant community of artists.

Who Can Apply:

Artists working in any medium or style who reside in one of the following Minnesota counties: Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse, or Wilkin.

 

Meet the Juror:

Nancy has been developing and leading educational arts programming in museums and nonprofit organizations throughout the state of Minnesota. In 2024 she founded Amilado Press, a collaborative and community-based print studio based in Richfield, MN specializing in publishing, artist residencies, and education. Outside of her role as Director & Printer at Amilado Press, Nancy serves on the Leadership Council of Serpentina Arts, a nonprofit organization providing professional and creative development for Latinx artists in Minnesota, and is also a board member of the Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center. She holds an MA in Education from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, specializing in culturally responsive teaching, and a BA in Art History and BFA in Printmaking from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
