The Red Door Art Gallery presents Bold and Playful, a group exhibition featuring works by six artists: Dr. David Clardy, Della Conroy, Phyllis Joos, Jodi Peterson, Ellen Sturdevant, and Laura Von Bank.

The exhibition brings together a variety of artistic perspectives, celebrating creativity, color, and playful expression through the work of these talented artists.

ARTIST RECEPTION: The public is invited to a reception on Thursday, October 15, from 5:00–7:00 PM. Visitors can explore the exhibition and enjoy a special 15% discount on exhibition artwork purchased during the reception day.

Bold and Playful will remain on view through October 31, 2026. Exhibition artwork can also be viewed online.

Call for Works: Native American Artists Exhibition

DEADLINE: October 24, 2026

The Red Door Art Gallery in Wahpeton, North Dakota, invites eligible Native American artists to submit work for its upcoming Native American Artists Exhibition, on view November 3–28, 2026.

The call is open to Native American artists who belong to a federally recognized Tribe. Artists may submit 3–5 works or up to 10 feet of wall space. Preference will be given to artwork that has not previously been exhibited at Red Door Art Gallery.

All accepted artwork must be available for sale on consignment. Red Door Art Gallery retains a 30% commission, which artists should account for when setting prices. Participating artists must also be members of the Red Door Art Gallery; artists who are unsure of their membership status are encouraged to contact the gallery.

To submit, email images and descriptions of your work to director@reddoorgallerywahpeton.com. First-time exhibiting artists should also include an artist biography.

Oh, Sew Saturdays: Plush Animal Sewing Workshop

REGISTRATION: Required | Limited to 12 Participants

The Red Door Art Gallery kicks off its new Oh, Sew Saturdays series with a two-day sewing workshop where participants will create their own handmade plush animal and a custom outfit to match!

Choose from nine adorable animal designs and spend the weekend learning techniques for constructing and dressing your new creation. On Saturday, participants will use their sewing machines to create their stuffed animals, then return Sunday to design and sew an outfit using their favorite fabrics.

All materials needed to create the plush animal are included. Participants should bring their own sewing machine and thread and are encouraged to bring fabric selections for their animal's outfit.

This intermediate-level workshop is limited to 12 participants, so early registration is encouraged. Featured art kits from 10x2 Studio are also available for advance purchase.
