Live Event: "Celebrating Togetherness: Same-Sex Dancing in FM" by Larry Peterson @ Hjemkomst Center

Event Link: https://www.hcscconline.org/events.html

Fee: Free Entry

Lesbians and gays treasured dances where they felt safe to be themselves. This talk and its musical selections share how our Moorhead-Fargo LGBTQ communities created community and celebrated each other through same-sex dancing in bars and through hosting same-sex dances in various public spaces in the late twentieth century. This presentation will be held on Tuesday, August 5 at 6:30pm in the Hjemkomst Center in the Oak Room and is free and open to the public.
