Dancing: "Syttende Mai at Immanuel Church" @ Immanuel Church

Celebrate Norwegian Constitution Day with Nordic food, music and dance under a tent at historic Immanuel Church!  Donation of $5 for our traditional Nordic Syttende Mai meal of  a hot dog wrapped in lefse, chips, Scandinavian waffles, etc. and a beverage.  Enjoy the live Nordic music of Ron Bjurlin and Anne O'Flynn and Scandinavian dance by "Glad of Lys," Happy and Bright! Join us in the barnetag parade or just enjoy watching!  Raffle drawings and  commemorative mugs and ornaments for sale add to the excitement!  Hipp, hipp hurrah!!

Cultural Festival: "Pangea-Cultivate Our Cultures" @ Hjemkomst Center

Join us for the 30th annual Pangea-Cultivate Our Cultures Festival, a free family-friendly event showcasing the cultural diversity in the Moorhead-Fargo community. Performances of music and dance from around the world begin at 10am and run through 4pm. Food from ten different cultures will be available for sale in the Food Court. Booths of artisans, cultural groups, and organizations serving newcomers will run throughout the building. This year's festival is sponsored in part by grants from the MN State Arts Board and Lake Region Arts Council through a Minnesota legislative appropriation to the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund; The Arts Partnership with support from the Cities of Moorhead, Fargo, and West Fargo; the Alex Stern Family Foundation; the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation; Marvin; Greater Fargo Convention and Visitors Bureau, and West Central Initiative. Free parking is available across the street at American Crystal Sugar and on the east side of the former Moorhead Center Mall where a free shuttle will bring you to the Hjemkomst Center.
