Call for Artists: Moorhead Streetlight Banner Designs
U.S. 250 Anniversary
Deadline: Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Location: Moorhead, MN (Downtown streetlight banners)
The City of Moorhead is seeking original design submissions to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary. Selected artwork will be printed on banners and displayed on streetlights throughout downtown Moorhead.
Submission Criteria:
Must relate to the United States’ 250th anniversary
Must incorporate a red, white, and blue color scheme
Must be appropriate for all audiences
Up to 2 original designs per artist
Design Specifications:
Dimensions: Right triangle, 48” tall x 20” wide (12:5 ratio)
Format: PDF, 72 dpi, under 10MB
Double-sided: Include a mirrored version of your design
If using text, ensure it reads correctly on the mirrored version
All submissions will be reviewed anonymously by the Art(ist) Review Team (A.R.T.).
