Call for Works: Once Upon a Canvas Exhibition

Dates of Exhibition: January 27, 2026 – March 21, 2026

Deadline for Submissions: January 17, 2026

Deadline for Arrival of Art: January 24, 2026

We invite artists to submit work that depicts the concept of fantasy. Works may express fairy tale or folktale themes or represent ideas such as dreams, imagination, and whimsy. Forms of work include but are not limited to painting, drawing, sculptural work, photography, printmaking, mixed media, wood carvings and textiles.

This is an open call for all artists who: Currently reside in North Dakota, Minnesota, or South Dakota, or those who call Wahpeton ND or Breckenridge MN their hometown or have a local connection.
