Artist Mentorship Program (AMP) — Applications Open

The Lake Region Arts Council is now accepting applications for the Artist Mentorship Program (AMP), a competitive and transformative opportunity for students in grades 8–12 to deepen their artistic practice through individualized mentorship.
Each year, selected students are paired one-on-one with a professional artist mentor in their chosen discipline and receive a $700 Arts Study Award to support their creative growth. AMP supports a wide range of artistic disciplines, including visual arts, music, dance, creative writing, theater, design, media arts, and more.
Applicants are selected based on artistic potential and demonstrated commitment.
Eligibility:
• Students in grades 8–12
• Public, private, or home-schooled students
• Must reside in the LRAC nine-county region: Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse, or Wilkin counties
