Crystal Singing Bowl Experience

Evansville Art Center

Gretchen Melo will present a sound bowl experience on Saturday, January 31 at 3:30 p.m.  She will present a singing bowl demonstration with 8 crystal singing bowls, followed by a sound bath for relaxation. In the short demonstration of 15-20 minutes, she will share the possible benefits of sound frequency for overall well-being and stress management
Afterwards, she will do a 20-minute sound bath where people will simply listen and relax as she plays the bowls and does a little vocal toning here and there. Prior to the sound bath Gretchen will offer simple and straightforward guidance as to how to best enjoy the experience. To wrap things up, she will invite people to share their experiences and will share tips on how to incorporate sound frequency into a relaxation routine.

Attendees are encouraged to bring yoga mats, but chairs will be available. 

There is a $15 suggested donation and registration is required.
