Points of Light Studio Open House – Final Weekend of Summer 2025
The last Points of Light Studio Open House for summer 2025 will take place Friday and Saturday, September 19–20, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Four accomplished artists—Stephen and Jackie Henning, Lyssa Lovejoy, and Calvin deRuyter—will welcome visitors to their studios, located within minutes of each other in the Evansville area.
Meet the Artists
Calvin deRuyter paints both landscapes and abstracts, exploring the tension and harmony between two worlds. His work reflects a yin–yang approach, balancing contrast while expressing his artistic truth.
Lyssa Lovejoy works in series, using painting and other art forms to tell layered stories. Each piece she creates aims to speak with its own unique voice.
Jackie Henning blends photography, painting, found objects, and textured surfaces to craft intricate mixed-media works inspired by her background in photography and faux finishing.
Stephen Henning paints landscapes in both traditional and experimental impressionist styles, creating calming, nature-inspired images that invite viewers to escape the everyday.
