"The Return of Peter the Slug" on the second level of The Rourke from 15 August through 14 September 2025. The Rourke Art Gallery + Museum is pleased to offer Ann Solyst's original watercolor illustrations from the children's book Peter the Slug, written by Peter Schultz, as a benefit auction for the Jeremiah Program of Fargo-Moorhead. The auction winners will be able to collect these lovely, whimsical pieces after the conclusion of the exhibition.

The auction begins online at 10 a.m. on Friday 8 August.

We invite you to join us for a special reception at the museum from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday 14 August to enjoy the watercolors in person and to celebrate the conclusion of the auction at 7:45 p.m.
