Commissioned by Practical Farmers of Iowa, the play brings to life real stories of families wrestling with inheritance, stewardship, and the legacy of the land. At the center is Angela Martin, a lawyer and mediator whose work spans families in deep conflict to those who planned ahead and avoided it. Her stories reflect the emotional and practical weight of land ownership and the difficult decisions that come with passing it on.
