Terrace Mill Grand Opening Celebration

Saturday, June 20 & Sunday, June 21, 2026 | Historic Terrace Mill, Terrace, MN

Join the Terrace Mill Foundation for a weekend celebrating the grand opening of the Historic Terrace Mill. Visitors are invited to enjoy live music, historic tours, artisan vendors, food, exhibits, antique tractors, and family-friendly activities at one of west central Minnesota's treasured historic landmarks.

A highlight of the celebration will be the debut of six original songs about Terrace written by Minnesota songwriter Fred Keller and performed by The Skally Line. The premiere performance will take place on Sunday, June 21 at 12:00 PMon the Terrace Mill Stage.

Saturday, June 20 Activities
• 8:30 AM – Mill Kitchen Breakfast (while supplies last)
• 10:00 AM – Ordway Prairie Tour (meet at the mill)
• 1:00 PM – Woodcarving Class with Roger Thalman and the Prairie Woodcarvers ($60, ages 14+)

Sunday, June 21 Activities
• 10:00 AM – Gates Open, Farmers Market & Artisan Vendors
• 11:00 AM – Mi Rancho Viejo Food Truck Opens
• 12:00 PM – The Skally Line performs original Terrace-themed songs

Throughout the Weekend
• Tours of the Historic Terrace Mill, schoolhouse, log cabin, and heritage cottage
• Antique tractor displays
• Student artwork exhibition in the Wheeler Gallery featuring Hancock School students
• Farmers market and artisan vendors

The woodcarving workshop will guide participants through carving and painting a realistic sunfish on a pond background. No experience is necessary, but advance registration is recommended due to limited space.
