$20 per person
Deadline to purchase tickets is May 19
Join us for our annual meeting of the membership on Thursday, May 29, at 7pm. We are trying something new with a dessert meeting instead of a formal dinner which seems to have waned in popularity. The Board of Directors has selected Dr. Carroll Engelhardt to be awarded the Clay County Heritage Award due to his amazing scholarship on important Clay County history topics including the books Gateway to the Northern Plains: Railroads and the Birth of Fargo and Moorhead, By the Sweat of His Brow: The R.M. Probstfield Family at Oakport Farm, and his memoir The Farm at Holstein Dip: An Iowa Boyhood.
Engelhardt will also give the keynote address on Probstfield after a short business meeting during which Board members will be elected. All are welcome to attend this meeting, but only active HCSCC members can vote. Tickets can be purchased below and must be purchased before May 19.
