Join award-winning Minnesota author Allen Eskens for a conversation about his writing career, the ten novels he has published, and the unexpected—and often humorous—journey to becoming a bestselling author.

Eskens will discuss his latest novel, The Quiet Librarian, recipient of the 2026 Minnesota Book Award. The novel follows a Minnesota librarian who is also a survivor of the war in Bosnia, weaving together themes of resilience, memory, and justice.
