A live performance based on the life and work of Will Dilg, a 1920s conservationist and founder of the Izaak Walton League of America. Dilg led the effort to establish the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge, protecting 240,000 acres of habitat.
This event is presented as an Earth Day celebration and is co-sponsored by the Prairie Woods Chapter of the Izaak Walton League, the League of Women Voters of Detroit Lakes, and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Mahnomen County.
