Artists may submit up to three items.

All work must be priced and available for sale following the guidelines specified.

Eligible:

Any type of painting, photograph, mixed media, sculptural work, wood carving, pottery, or fiber art, either done by the artist or from a personal collection reflecting a rural or agricultural setting. This is including, but not limited to: farms, barns, tractors, grain handling facilities, rural landscapes, domesticated animals, persons engaged in an agricultural or rural pursuit or cultivated crops.

Excluded:

Cityscapes or city skylines
Any other works deemed not acceptable by the jury committee under the guidelines provided. Any work of art that received a prize in last year’s competition is not eligible for submission.

*All works need to be original works by the submitting artist; no commercially produced pieces.

*All works of art intended to be hung need to be ready for hanging according to the guidelines specified.

*All works need to be delivered to the Gallery no later than Friday, July 26, 2025 to be considered for prize competition.

*No artist may win more than one award, with the exception of Viewer’s Choice. E.g., an artist may win First Place and Viewer’s Choice, but may not win First Place and Second Place.

*All works must stay in the gallery for the entire duration of the exhibit, unless the artwork is sold.

*All works must be picked up from the gallery within 90 days of the end of the exhibit, unless other arrangements are made with gallery. A reminder email will be sent out at the end of the exhibit.

*In the event that a work sells, the customer may be asked if they are willing to let the work stay in the Gallery for the duration of the exhibit. If the customer is unable to allow the work to remain in the Gallery, the work will be sold and allowed to leave.

*Each category of art media must have a minimum of six works submitted in order to be eligible as a prize category.

Images submitted to Red Door Art Gallery may be considered to be used in promotion of the exhibit.

Artists are responsible for the delivery and/or shipping costs to and from the Red Door. If work is shipped, a reusable container must be used. RDAG is not responsible for damage during the shipment for any reason. Return shipment will be sent C.O.D. to the artist. No post office boxes will be accepted for return shipments.
