Quilts in Color and Story

Warmth, tradition, and creativity come together in this special November exhibit celebrating the art of quilting. Each quilt on display carries its own story—stitched with care, layered with meaning, and alive with pattern and color by area quilters.

From timeless traditional blocks to contemporary designs, this collection highlights both the beauty of craft and the voices of the makers behind them. Visitors are invited to experience quilts not only as functional objects, but also as works of art that preserve memory, celebrate heritage, and inspire community.

This exhibition may be seen during regular Gallery hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or by special appointment,  There is no charge.

Evansville Art Center is located at 111 Main Street in Evansville and is handicap accessible.
