Auditions: Murder Mystery Dinner & Dessert Theatre - Do Not Resuscitate

FMCT invites actors 18+ for our Murder Mystery Dinner & Dessert Theatre, Do Not Resuscitate by Stephanie R. Austin, directed by Jim Hagel. 

Show Description:

Let's get one thing straight: first aid and CPR instructor Terry Morton doesn't want to be here any more than you do. And it isn't just because he's stuck in a small town with a bunch of kooky characters who, in his not-so-humble opinion,are a bunch of stultus (fools) -- it's because he fears his secret will be leaked. When it inevitably does, one person ends up as lifeless as the training dummy.

Performance Dates:

January 3rd - Dinner Theatre at the Hjemkomst Center 

January 4th - Dessert Theatre at the Hjemkomst Center

January 10th - Private Dinner Theatre Event in Ulen, MN

January 17th - Private Dinner Theatre Event in Oxbow, ND

January 25th - Private Dinner Theatre Event in Nome, ND

Actors will receive a stipend for all private performances happening outside of the Hjemkomst Center.

Rehearsal Dates:

Rehearsals will follow a Sunday through Thursday schedule 6:00-9:00pm. Rehearsals will begin the week of November 9th at the Hjemkomst Center (202 1st Ave N., Moorhead, MN 56560)

Audition Dates & Location:

Auditions will be held on Sunday, November 2nd from 6-9pm at the Hjemkomst Center.

Callbacks (should they be required) will be held on November 3rd from 6-9 pm.

Auditions will take place at The Hjemkomst Center (202 1st Ave N, Moorhead, MN 56560).

What to Prepare:

Please bring a theatrical resume and recent headshot (if you have one) to your audition with you and arrive fifteen minutes before your audition time to sign in. Audition times are approximate! Schedule may run slightly ahead or behind. Please be flexible.

Please prepare a 1-minute monologue of your choice. 

Actors of all gender identities and expressions, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and physical abilities are encouraged to audition.  No prior acting experience is required or expected.
