Battle Lake Through Your Lens: A Community Photography Project

Help celebrate Battle Lake’s 135th Anniversary by participating in a community-wide photography project! Residents and visitors of all ages are invited to capture images that reflect life in and around Battle Lake on June 20.

Whether you use a cell phone or digital camera, participants are encouraged to photograph the people, places, animals, plants, buildings, and everyday moments that make Battle Lake special. Amateur and professional photographers alike are welcome to participate.

Participants may submit up to three photographs. Images will be featured on the organization’s Facebook page and included in a gallery slideshow throughout the summer, creating a community portrait of “a day in the life” of Battle Lake during its anniversary year.

To help organizers document the community throughout the day, participants are encouraged to register and share when and where they plan to take photos.

There is no cost to participate, and everyone is invited to help capture the stories, sights, and spirit of Battle Lake.
