Lakes Area Radio Theatre put out a call for radio scripts and authors across the country stepped up and sent in stories.  April we present two of them - new contemporary scripts.  The Nick Files: Author in the First and The Connoisseur.

The Connoisseur

Have you ever gone into an art exhibit before it opens - ducked under the velvet rope that was closing it off to the public? Come for this production of Lakes Area Radio Theatre to find out what happens when Jimmy does just that - slips past the rope, moves the "do not enter" sign and goes into the exhibit room. Can he just walk out?  Find out Friday April 12th at 7 pm
Author: Anthony Arnold was born in Vancouver and has fond memories of listening to radio comedies many years ago. His stage plays have been performed in Toronto, Los Angeles, Spokane and Blue Springs MO. More recently, Old Friends won first prize in Theatre In the Raw’s Biennial One-Act Play Writing Contest in 2018. A Girl on the Subway and The Oracle and the Scribe were produced for radio by Theatre in the Raw in Vancouver. How Can I Help You? was broadcast by the Lakes Area Theatre in 2014.
